We provide employment to refugees to give them local work experience and job readiness skills to enter the UK workforce and help them integrate into broader society.\nAll our teabags are plastic-free, packaging is biodegradable and the teas are Fairtrade-certified.

Independent Domestic Abuse Services (IDAS) is the leading specialist domestic abuse service in Yorkshire, covering Sheffield, Barnsley, York and North Yorkshire. We support anyone affected by domestic abuse and in North Yorkshire we also support people who have experienced sexual violence or abuse. Our services include emergency refuge accommodation, outreach and community support services, 1:1 and group support, helplines, LiveChat on our website and work with children and young people. Race Equality First (REF) has over 40 years experience as the recognised lead body in South Wales for tackling discrimination and hate crime and promoting the message that Race Equality is a human right.\nWe are experts in the field of race equality and advise the United Nations and the UK Government. REF is now the only Race Equality Council in Wales with the specific remit to address racial equality and we are one of the four remaining Race Equality Councils in the UK.\nREF provides support to victims of hate crime and discrimination, training to community groups and organisations and advocacy to people from BME communities. We also conduct a number of research projects, influence policy and and offer advice and guidance to organisations about hate crime, discrimination and how to promote equality and anti-racism.

Bloody Good Period is a registered charity which provides menstrual products and toiletries to asylum seekers, refugees and those who can’t afford them. We also provide menstrual and reproductive education to women and people who menstruate, and campaign to normalise periods. In ‘normal’ times, we provide period supplies to asylum seekers, refugees and LGBTQ people living in poverty. We are partnered with 50 drop-in services around the country, supporting over 1500 people per month.

SolidariTee is the largest student-led charity fighting for change in the refugee crisis. We raise awareness of the crisis and offer grants to NGOs and individuals working in this field. We normally raise money for organisations providing legal aid to asylum seekers as we believe this is the best way to make sustainable change. In light of the current COVID-19 crisis, and the particular vulnerability of refugees living in camps, we have currently created an emergency fund to support Kitrinos Healthcare and their response to the crisis.

In rural Uganda, 64% of people have limited or zero access to a safe drinking water source. With more than 24% of handpumps broken in Uganda, we need a new approach to water provision, functionality and maintenance. Focusing on sustainability, we not only construct water sources in communities that have never had access to safe water, we also rehabilitate broken water sources, and bring back clean water to communities that once had it.\nBusoga Trust is one of Uganda's front-line emergency services in the battle against coronavirus. Our team is working tirelessly on the ground, rehabilitating boreholes, constructing new water sources, delivering soap and handwashing facilities to communities, and conducting hand washing campaigns through local governments and radio channels.

Refugee Education UK exists to help refugee and asylum-seeking children to build hopeful futures through education. Based in Harlesden, London, we support young refugees at every stage of their educational journey, from accessing and remaining in schools, to progressing at college and accessing university. Our educational mentoring programme connects trained volunteers to refugees across the country, and our specialist support team assists those who are particularly vulnerable due to precarious housing situations and mental health problems. Refugee Education UK conducts research in the refugee education sector both in the UK and in the Global South.

Simama Na Dada is a Swahili name meaning “Support a Sister”. This initiative is anchored on the belief that increasing the number of girls successfully completing the education cycle is a critical component of efforts to build their wider empowerment. We therefore strive to develop meaningful partnerships to enhance a sustained capacity to collect, purchase, and distribute sanitary products to young girls in formal and non-formal settings, whilst equipping them with life skills that prepare them to participate in life processes with dignity and respect.
